The Kershaw Reverb XL is a very special pocket knife. Its light weight, but also its design and technical execution are exceptional. This Reverb XL is, as the name might already suggest, somewhat bigger than the normal Reverb.
The way you open the blade is quite remarkable. You namely place your thumb on the thumb groove. So no hole in the blade, simply a groove that offers your thumb enough grip. It might take some getting used to, but it works fine. Once opened the blade is locked by a solid linkerlock. Not an average one, but a lock with a lockbar that is located in the middle of the steel frame. The handle is made from G10 with a carbon fibre overlay. Also very special.
You can easily hang the Reverb XL from your bag with the karabiner. Or you stick it in your pocket, where the subtle pocket clip will keep the knife in place. The Reverb XL is perfect for backpackers or day-trippers. Weighs next to nothing, can do a lot.
